Summary:
Under the general supervision, the Office Assistant position is responsible for assisting various office tasks.
This position is designed to provide opportunities to hone customer service skills, team development, and foster professional growth.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):
Provides a wide variety of general office duties, including answering phones, preparing correspondence, filing, sending faxes, etc.
Provide a good balance of technical and people skills with the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Prepare documents/materials as necessary.
Possess the ability to deliver a high level of interactive customer service, handle confidential materials appropriately, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy.
Assist individuals via phone, email or in person.
Assist with special projects.
Must be able to communicate regularly with direct supervisor all work status updates as well as task completions.
The office assistant must possess the ability to work well with staff at all levels within a diverse, multi-cultural, collaborative environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
ABOUT US:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
