Summary:
Foundation Laboratory is currently seeking a new team member who will be responsible for our daily data archiving (scanning) of all requisitions.
The IT Help Desk role will also provide on-site or remote technical assistance, which includes but is not limited to the setting up of computer hardware systems, installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting basic IT issues.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skill sets are a must-have to complete most job tasks assigned to this role.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems on local and remote computers.
Provide troubleshooting and support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 products.
Provide daily customer support.
Assist the IT team in various assignments.
Meet the needs and requirements of users while demonstrating excellent customer service.
Respond and service calls and emails in a timely manner.
Report on issues affecting users and clients.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull computer equipment and stand for extended periods of time.
Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 80 lbs.
Assist with email problems and password resets.
Requirements and Skills:
Functional knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must place highest importance on customer service.
Must be comfortable dealing with multiple customers at a given time, who often may be frustrated.
Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
