Summary:
The Manager for Community Partnership for Student Success (CPSS) will lead the CPSS Project in the Office of Academic Innovation under the supervision of the Director of Innovation Incubator (II).
Dr.
Olukemi Sawyerr, Associate Vice President for Academic Innovation (AVP AI).
The CPSS Project Manager will provide program administration duties of considerable scope and complexity and provide administrative and operational support for all aspects of implementing the CPSS program.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):
Conceptualizing, planning, implementing, and evaluating multiple program components Collaborating with academic units to identify micro-internship courses and recruiting relevant faculty to participate in the CPSS program Recruiting and managing community partners and organizations participating in the CPSS program Organizing workshops and training institutes for faculty, staff, and community partners Organizing CPSS programs, working with divisions across campus to implement micro-internships in curricular and cocurricular experiences of students Assessing the impact of program activities on student success Collaborating with the external evaluation to evaluate the short- and long-term effectiveness of the program Providing strategic information analysis Maintaining compliance with policies and procedures related to CPSS Planning and coordinating recruitment and student support activities Ensuring all fiscal commitments associated with CPSS approved by the CPP Foundation in a timely manner Managing the micro-internship web platform Leading CPSS program coordinators and student assistants Developing and managing a marketing communication plan for CPSS including maintaining its website, social media handles, etc.
, and collaborating with CPP Strategic Communication to widely disseminate the program MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree or equivalent in a related field AND three (3) years of experience in the professional student services field.
Ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and organize programs and activities Ability to interact with a diverse student population, faculty, staff, administrators, community partners, and the public Ability to analyze complex situations accurately and adopt effective courses of action Ability to advise students individually and in groups on complex student-related matters Ability to complete assignments without detailed instructions Ability to lead a team of highly skilled professionals Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a variety of individuals Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to acquire knowledge of the campus procedures and activities and the overall organization is required.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Prior experience with campus programs and resources and experience working with upper-division students, and first-year and transfer students, as well as under-represented and first-generation students are preferred.
Experience with grant-writing and the grant submission process.
Experience managing grant programs for underrepresented students.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
