Summary:
Currently searching for a Part-Time Research Technician to work in the laboratory of Prof.
Andrew Steele in the Department of Biological Sciences.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):
Conduct mouse behavioral, feeding studies, breeding, and survival surgery.
Tissue sectioning, antibody labeling, and characterization of antibody staining by confocal microscopy.
Responsible for preparation of solutions and basic lab maintenance and restocking.
Training of students in the laboratory.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field Excellent English verbal communication and writing skills Responsible and dependable Ability to work well with various people including students, faculty, and staff Motivated, innovative, and shows initiative Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Previous mouse handling, tissue histology, microscopy, and/or cell culture experience ABOUT US:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
