30am to 4pm Position SummaryUnder the general direction of the Accounting Manager, works with processing all payments, responding to vendor inquiries, cuts checks, and reconciles vendor accounts.
Essential Job Duties Process vendor invoices by matching the invoice to the receiver and purchase order prior to cutting a checkReconcile vendor invoices ensuring accuracy Investigate and resolve problems while building rapport with vendorsAnswer all inquires regarding vendor payments, investigate and resolve all payment issuesRespond to all requests for informationPrint weekly aging report for Accounting Manager to review and approve paymentsProcess weekly check run for vendor payments and all credit card statementsincluding matching invoices with checksGet authorized signatures on weekly payroll transfer request.

receivers once product is received Notify bank on travel dates/locations for credit card holdersSend weekly vendor check listing upload to bank for positive pay processApprove/reject vendor checks discrepancies via bank positive pay moduleQualifications High school diploma required; completion of Associate degree in accounting desirableMinimum three years accounting experience required preferably in manufacturingProficient in Excel and Word; knowledge of Made2Manage (M2M) software a plusAbility to effectively and accurately use a calculator and type using a keyboard and other business systemsMust be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writingAbility to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all government laws and regulationsPossess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to follow through, have excellent problem solving skills and be cost consciousMust be willing to submit to a clinic drug test and physical prior to start.
