Direct Hire opportunity Production Supervisor for Sand Casting/Machining operations in Pomona - 2nd shift - non-exempt role with opportunity for over-time. Excellent Benefits. Requires 4
years of supervisory role in a foundry manufacturing setting.
POSITION
Summary:
Maximize productivity at minimum cost of assigned department(s). Offer support and direction to hourly staff to meet company productivity and quality objectives.
DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
o Make sure hourly employees in assigned department receive adequate training and support.
o Ensure product quality.
o Perform record keeping duties for assigned staff.
o Establish and maintain an efficient and productive physical department.
o Responsible for employee training, performance, safety, implementation of company policies and related human resource functions.
o Collaborates with Product and Industrial Engineers in the development and design of new products and the setting of 'standard' times for operations.
o Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
o Maintain a clean, organized work area
o Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
o Ability to work overtime

o Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
